Felt Heart Wreath

I follow a couple of blogs and they all did this wreath that I thought would be fun to try. It looked pretty simple so even the person that is not very crafty could do this project. This wreath cost me about $10!

Here is the blog that I got the idea from: The Idea Room

Here is what you need to do this project:

A small cup about 3” in diameter and about 200 push pins! (oh…a mistake that I made was buying push pins that were took long so some of them poked through on the other side. make sure that you buy smaller ones if you decide to do this project)

I used about a yard of felt and took the cup and traced around the cup and cut out these circles.  I think I used about 200 felt circles.

You will need one Styrofoam heart that you can get at your local craft store.

You will then fold the circle in half and then again one more time until you have a triangle.  Then you take the push pin and poke it through the bottom of the felt and then push it on the the Styrofoam. Then continue all away around until you are done. When I was done I pinned three push pins to hold the ribbon on and then hung it on the wreath holder.

Here is the end result!  I thought it came out pretty good.

I got the wreath holder at Joann’s for $5.99 and I already had the ribbon.

  1. Your wreath is gorgeous! I love it with the black ribbon against your black door. It looks expensive! You did a great job!
