This rocking chair has been in our family since I was a little girl. My parents held on to it for all this time and the I took it before we even had kids knowing that I would want it some day.
This chair was kind of the inspiration for the play room. I found a piece of fabric to cover the cushion and then decided I wanted the colors that were in the fabric in the playroom.
I sanded it down a little, probably could have done it a little more, but liked the look of it being a little distressed. I painted just a plain white color and then added foam and fabric for the new cushion.
These pictures are not the greatest due to light and that they were taken with my phone.
